• Please do not enter the dance room or distract dancers while class is in session. The curtains can be pulled in front of the viewing windows for Level 1-4 classes, at the discretion of the instructor. Opportunities for open viewing will occur throughout the season.

• Children should not be left alone at the studio without supervision before or after classes.

• Please be respectful of other dancers, parents/guardians, and staff at all times. Anything to the contrary will not be tolerated, and you may be asked to leave.

Parents/guardians must email the office if their child wishes to add/drop a class. Parents/guardians are responsible for the whole month's tuition if a dancer drops by the 10th or later. Tuition refund will not be given to drops that occur after the 10th of the month. The last day to add a class and participate in recital is February 1, 2025. This date is also the last day to drop a class and receive a costume refund.

The 2024-2025 Registration fee is $35 per individual dancer and $50 per family.

• Tuition is based on an annual amount of 35 classes from mid-September through mid-June, and thus we do not pro-rate for the last month of classes, vacations, or holidays that Vibe closes for (please see our 2024-2025 calendar). We also do not pro-rate for absences due to illness or weather closures or after a student has started.

• Monthly tuition will be posted on the 1st of each month. Everyone is required to enroll in auto pay, but has the option to pay by cash, check, or alternative credit card before the 10th of the month. Any outstanding balances will be charged to the account on file by the 10th of the month. Please ensure you review charges on your account prior to the 10th of the month.

• If payment is not received on time, a $10 late fee will be applied to the account by the 17th of the month. Students with unpaid accounts will not be allowed to participate in private lessons.

• A $25 charge will be applied to account balances for returned checks.

• A family discount will be applied as follows: student with highest number of classes will pay full price, each student after that in the same household will receive 10% discount for each class.​

• Payments are applied to the oldest charge first. For example, if a costume charge is due, but monthly tuition is overdue then the payment would be applied towards tuition.

Prices of costumes are:

• $80 for Tots, Kinder, Primary, and Foundations classes

• $90 for Level 1-4 classes

*Tights and required shoes are not included.

All classes will be performing in our annual recital and thus will have a costume charge except for classes labeled Ballet Technique, Progressions, or Open Tumbling.

NEW THIS YEAR - A $30 non-fefundable deposit per class will be charged on October 10th. The remainder of costume fees for our annual recital are due by January 10, and cannot be refunded after February 10th.

Vibe by Emerald takes pictures and videos of students during classes, rehearsals, and performances. These may be used on our website, social media sites, and publications. Videos for recital and competition dance practice purposes will be taken by the faculty or staff and posted in the Band app.

Please check your email or our Facebook/ Instagram page for information regarding cancelations due to weather. If classes are canceled, an email will also be sent out. We do not necessarily follow Clinton Public Schools or other afterschool programs for cancellations. Cancellations are based on road conditions close to the time of dance classes.

The health and safety of everyone at Vibe by Emerald remains an utmost priority by continuing to ensure a clean and safe environment. Those who feel unwell should refrain from coming to class until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours. If a dancer will be out sick or absent due to other reasons, we ask that you please email the office to let us know.

Students are allowed 4 free makeup classes to remedy absences due to illness and weather closures, and are allowed to take these 4 classes between September and February even if the child does not have any absences. Makeup classes will not be allowed after February. Please email us to schedule.
